At Splitz we have a number of volunteering opportunities for with our mentoring and befriending service or in other aspects of our work. We will provide appropriate training for all volunteering roles and provide opportunities to develop your personal skills.
The CYP team will assess what support is needed and what intervention can be offered. We work holistically and endeavour to be in close communication with the non abusive parent and other practitioners who are already involved with the family. Of course we only share information with consent and on a need to know basis. The aim of the CYP service is to increase the safety and wellbeing of children and young people affected by domestic abuse and to break the cycle of abuse.
