An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Devon service for two Behaviour Change IDVAs, working with individuals who are perpetrating abuse.

This role is part of the commissioned Devon domestic abuse support service, which provides a whole family approach to preventing domestic abuse and has an anticipated start date of September / October 2020 depending on Government restrictions to COVID-19.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-agency team, working closely with IDVAs and the Children’s Team, but will be based within the Police led Domestic Abuse Integrated Offender Management team, to ensure that clients who use abusive behaviour are supported through every stage of the process of change.

You should have proven experience and qualifications in support work with knowledge of domestic abuse issues, preferably with experience of working with domestic abuse perpetrators and also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

When applying clearly state which position you are interested in. Applicants can ask to be considered for both posts.
